Weekend Recap

We were back at church yesterday. We had missed some Sundays due to illness and it was finally good to be back. The sermon was so good and so convicting. Our pastor preached on Luke 2:1-20. I love reading that passage. There was one particular thing that the pastor said that really struck me though. He talked about how you can choose to grow in your spiritual walk or not. He talked about in a year from now are you going to be in the same place spiritually or will you have grown? I for some reason have found it so hard to sit down and have a consistent quiet time ever since I have been staying home. There really is no explanation for it. I have plenty of time to do it while Hadden is napping, I just find myself getting wrapped up in other things. However that is no excuse and I need to make it my number one priority. So I will be working on that!!!

Hadden was so good during church. He was asleep when we got there but quickly woke up once we got in the building at sat down. He hates being in his carseat sitting still. However when he woke up he was very happy. So I just got him out and he sat on Zach's lap and looked around almost the whole time. At the very end I did take him and he went to sleep.

We all dressed up in Christmas colors. I just wish we could have gotten a picture all together. Here are some pictures...

Doesn't Hadden look so cute in his Christmas outfit. I got if for 99 cents on ebay!!!

We also watched the survivor finale last night. I really wanted Russell to win, however I liked all three that were left. I think it is a little crazy that he cried at the end though. Zach was even into it this season and so we both watched. Hadden even watched a little with us as well.

Zach and I got the Super Mario Brothers for the Wii for Christmas. It is so much fun!!! When you play two players, you are actually on the screen together. We found it a bit of a challenge though because you can kill each other without meaning too! :)

Hope everyone else had a great weekend.
Merry Christmas!
